If you want to learn how to read a map and compass, the Orienteering 101: Compass and Map Reading event at the New Echota Historic Site is for you!

Join us and our rangers as they teach fundamentals on how to read a map and a compass. At the end of the event, visitors will navigate a course set by the rangers for a fun-filled hour of learning and enjoying the great outdoors in Calhoun, GA!

This Calhoun, GA, event takes place one mile east of I-75 off exit #317 on Highway 225. Admission is $6-8.
